The Corrs
|
The Corrs are an Irish band made up of 4 siblings. The quartet is composed of: Andrea, Jim, Caroline & Sharon. They all play a mixture of pop & rock, and traditional Irish music. Andrea, plays the lead vocals, and the tin whistle. Sharon plays the background vocals, and the violin. Caroline plays the background vocals, bodhran (Irish drum), and the drums. Jim plays guitars, keyboards, programming & accordian. Together they produce harmony on fantasies, relationships, and life.

The Corrs, have been working for 9 years. At the moment, they have 2 albums, "Forgiven, not Forgotten", "Talk on Corners". They have "Runaway", and "Forgiven, Not Forgotten", and a lot more on their debut album. For the second album, they have "Only When I Sleep", "I Never Loved You Anyway", for the second. Like I said these are pop/rock/traditional Irish songs containing instrumental parts, which give the compositions more life.

The quartet Corrs has just finished their Asian tour, in Bangkok, Malaysia, Philippines, etc (last April 1998). The trip was successful, and as Jim said, "Next time when we come back, this October/September 1998, we'll explore more..." And hopefully, they will.
